Mission Statement
Junction Christian Academy partners with parents to provide an academic education of excellence based upon Biblical foundational truths.

PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
We believe that parents are God’s primary provision for nurturing and educating children (Deut. 6:6-9). Our philosophy of Christian education consists of aligning the home, church, and school in working together to help provide a solid foundation for the students. The ultimate goal is for students to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to come alongside and supplement the home, serving as a representative of parents in matters of education, ministry, and discipline during school hours. We believe a strong home/school relationship is essential. Therefore, parental involvement and support play a vital role in the academic and spiritual growth of each child. Teachers and parents must regularly and consistently communicate regarding the progress of their student.

OUR VISION
Junction Christian Academy strives to equip students to fulfill God’s purpose for their daily lives through a Christ-centered educational program in a nurturing environment.
Statement of Faith
God
There is one God, Creator and Ruler of everything. He eternally exists in three parts: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26-27)
The Bible
God’s Word is Truth. It was written by human authors under the influence, guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Scriptures are Divinely inspired, completely authoritative and free from error of any sort. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 2:13; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God
He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary by miraculous conception, lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He arose form the dead after three days demonstrating His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory where He is the only Mediator between God and people, and will return again to earth. He will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Luke 1:26-35; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25; John 14:2-3)
Holy Spirit
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ, convict men of their need of Jesus Christ and restore the fallen believer by comforting, helping, guiding, empowering and indwelling the believer for Godly living and service. His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. (Mark 1:10; Luke 1:35; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; Romans 8:9-11, 14-16, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
Humanity
We are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. We are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although we have tremendous potential for good, everyone is marred by an attitude of rebellion toward God called sin. Sin separates people from God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12-15; Romans 3:23)
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to all people. Men and women can never make up for their sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can a person be saved from sin’s penalty. When God has begun a saving work in the heart of any person, He gives assurance in His Word that He will continue performing it until the day of its full consummation. (John 3:3; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:11, Romans 6:23)
The Church
The Church is the composition of all those who have, by faith, been restored by the Holy Spirit and united together as the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. Cowboy Junction Church is a body of believers committed to do their part in God’s big plan. God’s vision for the church is to establish His kingdom and be His craftsmanship. We are to worship and glorify God, be conformed to Christ’s image, emulate the works of Jesus and make disciples of all nations. (Acts 2:41-47; 16:5; 20:28; Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; 3:10-12)
Eternity
People are created to exist forever. Every person will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is heaven. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. (Mark 9:43-50; John 5:24; Romans, 10:9-10; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:10-15)
Christian Living
Christian Living is a relationship with God where we are fully surrendered to his Lordship. It is working out our own salvation by not just being hearers of The Word but also doers of The Word. We believe scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We follow Jesus where ever he leads us with the purpose of building the kingdom of heaven. (Romans 8:15-17; Colossians 1:21-23; Philippians 2:12-18, James 1:22)
